Description
Mouth-blown and handmade Bohemian Glassware
Made in Bohemia
Perfect for water, sake or wine.
The Karl glasses are named after Annika’s husband, whose inspiration draws from the serene landscapes of forests and the cultural richness of Japan, both places he has visited extensively.
The name « Akua » is derived from the Japanese name meaning « water, » reflecting the beautiful interplay of both Japanese and Latin influences. The exquisite hue of the glass, referred to as Forest Green, mirrors the depths of nature, while the elegant shape is reminiscent of traditional Japanese serving glasses.
Each glass is meticulously handmade following bohemian traditions, embodying the design of Akua with unique, poetic motifs that pay homage to the artistry of the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
Every Karl glass is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own distinctive detail.
