Description
This kinetic sculpture captures light and movement in a graceful vertical spiral form. The mobile is composed of eight precision-cut and curved polished stainless steel half-circles. As it turns, the reflective surfaces catch and scatter light, transforming the surrounding space with shifting highlights and mirrored fragments.
The spiral form suggests both celestial motion and organic growth, balancing minimal geometry with a dynamic, offering a sense of harmony between balance and flux. A work that is at once restrained and luminous, it makes light itself part of the composition. The Sun Catcher Spiral is a reworked version of the shorter Sun Catcher mobile.
The uniqueness of the Sun Catcher Spiral may hold minor irregularities from the crafting hand. This is part of the individual design and production process, and should not be considered defects.
