Description
The name Sol comes from Old English, meaning Sun. This round pendant is made by hand, each piece of steel is shaped and welded to form the shape, with each one being slightly unique to the last. The momigami paper is then stretched across the frame to fully conceal the bulb within.
This is a lighter version of our original oak dye, made by diluting the tannin rich infusion from the bark of ancient oaks, gathered only from trees that have fallen naturally. It gives the paper a soft, earthy beige.
Shade only – compatible with E27/E26 screw-type light fittings, which fit through a 40mm ring welded to the frame. LED bulb only, 4–6W.
Each lamp is handmade, with no two being exactly alike. Subtle variations in symmetry and form are part of its unique character.
