‘Rhythm Black’ Cotton Rag Paper Composition

Description

Rhythm is handmade from cotton rag paper. The paper naturally exudes a sense of calmness and respect for craftsmanship. Each sheet is unique and asks for minimal addition. With a few basic tools and manual folding, the paper slowly begins to compose its own rhythm through the merging of the elements.

The repetition of elements makes the work satisfying to look at. Unpretentious. A sense of stillness starts to settle. Light reveals the color shades of the paper and the story begins to unfold.

Rhythm is made to order. Lead time is 6-8 weeks.
Black cotton rag paper is paired with a maple (black handpainted) frame and a white background. On request this can be customised.
