Description
A pearl forms slowly, layer by layer.
NACRE carries the same sense of suspended becoming.
Two blown-glass forms meet at the edge of heat and merge into one. The motion that draws them together becomes their structure.
Their surfaces retain the memory of this encounter — soft folds, shallow hollows, light behaving almost like fabric.
Mirroring and sand-washing do not conceal these traces; they allow depth and move-ment to be read with quiet precision.
NACRE is not assembled.
It comes into being in a single continuous act — each piece singular and unrepeatable.
