Description
A pair of cast-iron sculptures, showcasing their beauty from every perspective. Created by the Swedish artist Marita Norin (1943–2021), a multifaceted talent who excelled in sculpture, teaching, writing, and cartooning. After honing her skills at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design from 1962 to 1965, she built an illustrious career as a sculptor. Her impressive body of work spans solo showcases, group and collective exhibitions, and international medal exhibitions in Budapest (1977), Lisbon (1979), and Florence (1983).
These sculptures, which can also function as bookends, are a testament to her artistry. Solid and substantial, they weigh approximately 3 kilograms each.
