This piece is part of the RELIEFS collection by sculptor & designer Franck Scala, a series of ceramic bas-reliefs. With this work, Franck Scala invites us on a journey, reinterpreting the reliefs of some of the world’s most iconic natural landscapes.

Fascinated by the impact of time and the elements on matter—particularly the erosion of rock—the artist pays tribute to these phenomena by representing them graphically.

For the composition of the RELIEFS wall sculptures, the artist delved into his many travel memories. Here, with Le Grand Blanc, Franck Scala recalls his long hikes through the mountain ranges of the French Alps.

Technical Details: Sculpted ceramic tiles mounted on a wooden panel with an integrated wall-mounting rail. This piece is a triptych consisting of three wooden panels to be installed side by side.
