Description
Three-arm sculptural metal candlestick in a brutalist style from mid-century Poland. Handmade from bent sheets of metal, the piece reveals multiple angles and shifting forms from different viewpoints. The surface has a molten-metal texture with an aged patina. The metal has not been treated and shows light signs of surface rust, consistent with age; it can be oiled if desired. A one-of-a-kind, functional sculptural object from communist-era Poland.
