Description
In 1970s Italy, plexiglass became a central material in domestic design. Transparent or tinted, it allowed for clean, functional volumes, designed for modern interiors.
Italian box from this period, made of transparent and smoked plexiglass. Simple and precise construction, with a play of superimposed materials that creates a subtle contrast. The interior is organized into two compartments, separated by an integrated divider, allowing for structured storage. Workshop work, not attributed at this stage.
Very good condition. The whole is clean, with slight micro-scratches consistent with age, without alteration of transparency or smoked tint.
Its proportions are balanced: 15 cm in length, 11 cm in width, and 5.5 cm in height. Ideal size for everyday use.
A sober piece, easy to integrate. Perfect on a desk, a console, or a coffee table for discreetly organizing small objects, accessories, or documents.
