Made in Italy around the mid-1960s, it is crafted from cream-glazed ceramic, enhanced with two carefully applied gold friezes. The design is intentionally understated: a generous, slightly raised circular form that highlights the quality of the glaze and the regularity of the decoration. No markings are visible, typical of Italian workshops producing decorative pieces of the period.
The condition is very good. The enamel has a beautiful shine, without chips or cracks. The gilding is well preserved, with slight natural variations due to age, but no significant loss.
The valet tray measures 15.5 cm in diameter and 6 cm in height, ideal proportions for everyday use.
It will naturally find its place on an entryway, a desk or a coffee table, accommodating keys, jewelry or small objects, with a calm and timeless elegance.
