Description
In the early 1970s, many Italian workshops experimented with massive forms in pressed glass, favoring simple volumes and intense color. This dark green glass ashtray fits perfectly within this style, with its clean geometry and surface finish characteristic of the decade. Made of thick molded glass, it features a wide central well and subtly textured contours. Its weight and tinted transparency evoke utilitarian pieces designed to last, while maintaining a strong visual presence. The condition is very good. The glass retains its depth of color and its edges remain well-defined. There are a few minor signs of wear, consistent with its age.
