Description
Before roads and cities, great stones stood in quiet defiance of time, balanced, mysterious, and full of forgotten purpose. The Hanging Dolmen pendant captures that ancient wonder.
The bark of ancient oaks, gathered only from trees that have fallen naturally, is soaked and boiled to release a dark, tannin-rich dye. Used to dye this paper with a warm, earthy tan, like the memory of the tree held in its fibers. Revered in folklore, the oak symbolized strength, wisdom, and endurance.
Each lamp is handmade, with no two being exactly alike. Subtle variations in symmetry and form are part of its unique character.
