In the 1980s, Pierre Cardin extended his formal vocabulary beyond fashion, creating objects with clean lines and graphic signatures. This vase is an example, blending geometric rigor with metallic detail.
Pierre Cardin edition, 1980s. Thick molded glass, slightly flared rectangular section. Includes an applied metal element, a signature aesthetic of the house, along with discreet markings. Precise workmanship, typical of decorative pieces from the period.
Very good overall condition. Clear glass, without any noticeable defects. The metal element has a few superficial scratches, consistent with use, without affecting the legibility of the coin.
It measures 35.5 cm in height and 11 cm in width. A slim design, easy to integrate.
Ideal as a single-flower vase with a few long stems or presented alone, on a console or shelf, to highlight a contemporary composition.
