Description
Fruits Of Vulnerability, a hand-woven aluminium wall tapestry and sculpture, is part of an introspective and deeply personal body of work and first solo exhibition that explores the artist’s more than decade-long battle with an eating disorder. Fruits, a significant symbol in the artist’s life, both as literal and symbolic means of nourishment, are recurrent theme in the latest body of work, representing both the love and difficult attachment to them. The work is completely hand-woven with aluminium wire, with the sand casted aluminium fruits. Each piece is one of a kind.
