Burgundy Sommerso Murano vase from the mid-20th century, created by Flavio Poli (Italy, 1960s).
This vase combines burgundy, yellow, and clear glass, with an eight-sided geometric faceting that resembles a diamond.
The « Sommerso » technique (submerged in Italian) was a highly popular trend in Murano between the 1950s and 1970s.
