Description
A sculptural glazed stoneware bowl designed and executed by Eigil Heinrichsen in his Birkerød workshop, Denmark, circa 50s/60s.
Slightly deeper in form, this example carries a softer, more earthy expression. The hand-painted abstract motif appears almost ink-washed against the speckled glaze, the dark line gently feathering into the surface. The interplay between the rounded volume and the looping composition gives the piece a subtle dynamism.
Hand-turned in glazed stoneware and signed “EH Danmark” to the underside.
