In 1960s Italy, glass became a true field of chromatic and formal exploration. This cut crystal vase perfectly illustrates this quest, where color is deeply worked as a material in its own right. Its geometric structure, with sharp and precise facets, reveals a particularly subtle interplay of colored overlays: an intense red heart, almost incandescent, seems to float in the center, surrounded by graduated shades ranging from golden yellow to deep blue. This internal composition, amplified by the thickness of the crystal, creates changing optical effects depending on the viewing angle and light.

The whole evokes the experiments of modernist Italian design, where rigorous volumes and visual richness interact in balance. The size of the crystal accentuates this sculptural dimension, transforming the object into a true decorative piece. Very good general condition. The crystal is perfectly preserved, without any chips or noticeable scratches. The edges are sharp and the transparency remains remarkable.
