Description
A exquisite Art Deco brass box representing the refined artistry of Pierre Amédée Plasait (b.1910), son of the French gold and silversmith Amédée Auguste Plasait. A rounded low lens-shaped form crafted in hammered brass with a striking pair of intertwined cast bronze mountain goats crowning the lid. A fine example of early deco craftwork.
