Description
Chandelier “Absence” is a large candle holder in patinated aluminium and antique glass, conceived as both a ritual object and a sculptural presence for contemplation and use.
« Absence » offers a subtle encounter between the rigour of design and the unpredictability of the elements. Through its form and material, the piece explores the balance between fullness and emptiness and asserts a presence that is both strong and silent. Its patina captures and reflects its surroundings and the elements that bring it to life, playing with perspective and perception. In a slow transformation, the wax leaves behind an ephemeral sculpture, the passage of time and its invisible presence.
It is designed by Luc Sciberras and produced in a limited edition in France by Exceptional Craftsmen.
