Description
Cabana is a series that explores the limits imposed by the union of the rattan and its malleability with the stiffness of the wood, in order to create pieces in distortion and movement. The wooden frames propose a break with the four-legged table stereotype, drawing irregular paths, which when paved create unique surfaces revealed only when each piece is finished.
The series prioritizes formal and constructive investigation, and sometimes goes beyond the functional commitment of the object, resulting in sculptures that materialize the initial research. Each piece is numbered and made using artisanal processes essential for experimentation.
