Hammered brass with repoussé mythological scene female figure and stylized bull. Spanish craft workshop revival of traditional metalworking: hand-raised form, hammer-textured surface, relief work executed while metal remains hot. At 49cm diameter, this demonstrates substantial technical command maintaining proportion and detail across large-scale repoussé requires mastery.
Part of post-Franco cultural renaissance recovering artisanal techniques.
Signed “Taller de la Torre 1978” on reverse. Excellent condition with natural patina.
