Description
A solid bronze side table cast directly from life. Rhubarb emerges from a bright pink knuckle in wintered soil, growing slowly at first, then with increasing luxuriance, a vivid announcement of Spring’s return.
This collection captures the sense of renewal, wonder, and playfulness often associated with the first signs of rhubarb pushing through the earth. Large leaves are cast from life, their natural forms transformed into tactile, functional sculptures.
Three large stems, each grown at a natural angle with subtle flicks at their base, form the perfect “feet” of the table. The lost wax process preserves every minute detail from the veins in the leaves to the rough edge where the plant once met the soil.
A dark patina enhances the sculptural depth, gently rubbed back on the raised surfaces to reveal the intricacies of the veins and textures beneath. Each piece is handcrafted and entirely unique, ensuring that no two tables are ever exactly alike.
