Bohemian Alexandrite/Neodymium Glass Vase, designed by Miroslav Klinger for Železnobrodské sklárny (ZBS) around 1960.
This type of glass contains a special ingredient that absorbs yellow light. As a result, the vase appears lilac/pink in daylight or normal lighting, but takes on shades of violet to light blue under cold light such as fluorescent tubes. It’s a mesmerizing display of color transformation!
