Description
In the 1980s, Sicart continued his work with geometric volumes in ceramic, favoring clean lines and uniform finishes. This black ceramic vase is a perfect example of this approach, with a circular silhouette pierced by a central opening.
The precise and regular central opening reinforces its sculptural character, typical of Sicart’s production from this period. The condition is very good, with a bright and continuous surface. No chips or structural defects to report. Whether placed alone as a decorative piece or accompanied by a minimal floral arrangement, it brings a graphic presence, faithful to the formal research of the 80s.
