Description
This abstract work was titled « Atacama » as its main color, yellow, takes us to the dessert of Atacama in the North of Chile. It’s a piece with minimal visual information but a powerful presence. Paula achieved depth in the background using different shades of ochre and brown, with blending, splashes, and more watered-down areas. The ochre background doesn’t cover the entire canvas; it’s left unpainted to create the effect of a frame, but much lighter. Her blue pastel strokes are like scribbles that add interest and are the finishing touch. It was created in 2025 with acrylic and pastel on canvas. It measures 1.50 x 1.30 meters, comes rolled inside a plastic tube and has an authenticity certificate.
