Description
The Aster Pendant is composed of two parts: a sliced natural alabaster stone, and a brushed brass or aluminum pendant light. The simplicity of these two elements play off of one another, exploring how light falls on both the rough exterior of the stone and the smooth shine of the sliced edge.
Each piece of stone is hand selected, sliced, and hand finished to create an effect of smooth interior and rough exterior.
The light passes through the Alabaster in various ways as the stone’s irregularity changes. The pendant sits adjacent to the stone, harmoniously coupled as one. Each piece is unique. Matching halves of stone are available as a pair and custom metal finishes are available.
