Elegant pewter tray with engraved botanical and animal motifs, designed by renowned sculptor and craftsman Nils Fougstedt for Svenskt Tenn, the famed Stockholm interior design store he co-founded in 1924. The design exemplifies Fougstedt’s signature style—richly detailed yet restrained ornamentation reflecting the neoclassical approach of Swedish Art Deco. Marked on the reverse with the Svenskt Tenn maker’s mark and « E8 » dating code, confirming 1931 production.
