In the 1980s, the return of precious veneers was part of a more structured aesthetic, often associated with strong contrasts. This box is an elegant illustration, combining satin black wood and elm burl with rich, organic patterns.

An Italian piece from the 80s, made of wood with an elm burl veneer on the front and a black-stained frame. The design is structured by an overhanging base and lid, which frame the dense and characteristic grain of the elm. The overall effect is balanced, with a sober yet assertive presence.

The condition is very good. A few light marks of use visible on the black parts, consistent with its age, but the whole remains very clean and presents perfectly. The interior is also in good condition.

It measures 28 cm in length, 16 cm in width, and 7 cm in height. A generous size, practical for daily use.
