In the 80s, Murano continued its exploration of material and color effects. Multi-layered glasswork allowed for dynamic compositions, achieved through superposition and hot twisting.
Italian Murano glass vase, dating from the 80s, not attributed at this stage. Made using a blown glass technique with the inclusion of colored layers, here in a register of reds, ambers, and blacks. The « draped » decor is obtained by rotating and stretching the molten material, creating a continuous movement over the entire surface.
Very good condition. No chips or cracks. Minimal light signs of use, with no visual impact. The colors retain all their depth.
The proportions are balanced: 27.5 cm in height by 12 cm in width. An assertive presence without excess.
A piece suitable for a console, a bookcase, or a coffee table. Works alone or with a few simple stems. Easily integrates into a contemporary or collected interior.
