Description
This large vase testifies to the expertise of Murano glassmakers in the 1980s, a period marked by extensive research into the effects of texture and depth. The so-called Leopard pattern, composed of dark spots embedded in a translucent amber mass, creates a dense and instantly recognizable visual vibration.
The glass is thick, expertly crafted, with a carefully polished transparent base that brings balance and stability to the whole. The overall condition is very good. No chips or cracks to report, only slight superficial marks consistent with the age and nature of the glass. A strong decorative piece, this vase can be used alone as a sculptural object or integrated into a 20th century Italian glass composition, where it will immediately bring character and presence.
