Italian Vase in Metal and Glass c. 1980

Description

This Italian vase perfectly illustrates the rigorous architectural aesthetic of 1980s design. The composition plays on a very graphic dialogue between brushed metal and transparent glass, in a spirit that is both minimalist and assertive.

Made in Florence, it is distinguished by its rectilinear, almost sculptural, cut-metal structure that frames and reveals an inner glass container.
