Description
A refined Italian soliflore vase by Doval, composed of three slender tubular forms of varying heights, arranged within a circular base. The composition is minimal yet sculptural, with a quiet rhythm created through proportion and repetition.
Finished in 24-karat gold plating, the surface has developed a soft, time-earned patina that gently diffuses the light, giving the piece warmth without excessive shine. The restrained geometry reflects the clean, modernist language of Italian design from the 1970s, with subtle early postmodern undertones in its repetition and form.
Designed to hold single stems, each tube can be used individually or as a grouped composition, functioning equally well as a vessel or sculptural object.
A subtle but distinctive decorative piece, balancing precision, material, and form.
