Original pastel artwork by Polish painter Henryk Barczyński from the 1920s. Part of his Paris series, created in France. The artwork depicts a Parisian scene in pastels with influences from Marc Chagall and Oskar Kokoschka. Framed in original dark brown wooden frame with passe-partout under glass. Artist of Jewish descent known for works exhibited in Berlin, Dresden, Tel Aviv, New York City and Łódź.

Barczyński’s artistic works were influenced by Marc Chagall and Oskar Kokoschka, and motivated by the everyday life of the Polish Jews. He painted in water colors, practiced copper plate engraving and etching. His artworks have been exhibited in Berlin, Dresden, Tel Aviv, New York City and Łódź.
