Description
Simple and elegant forged metal candlestick from mid-century, communist-era Poland. Delicately proportioned yet sturdily constructed, this is a one-of-a-kind piece, likely produced in a small artisan workshop. The candle holders feature hammered detailing, echoed along the edges, while the tops of the stems are gently tapered and subtly twisted, giving the piece a refined and distinctive character. Expertly made. There are a few small rust spots, consistent with age; these can be easily treated if desired.
