Description
Designed in the late 1960s, the F510 reflects Geoffrey Harcourt’s pursuit of comfort balanced with a sculptural clarity that defined his collaboration with Artifort. Its tulip-shaped swivel base anchors a generous seat, designed to adapt to the relaxed posture of modern living.
Produced by Artifort, the chair combines a molded fiberglass shell with a chromed steel base and is upholstered in original cognac leather. The craftsmanship of this period is evident in the precise tailoring and the integrity of the materials.
The leather shows a soft, even patina consistent with age and use, enhancing its character without compromising comfort. The foam remains supportive, and the swivel mechanism functions smoothly.
Height 85 cm, width 80 cm, depth 82 cm.
An iconic seat, equally at home in a private collection or a refined interior.
