Description
A twin-handled metal vase by Dovo, produced in Holland, distinguished by its clean, balanced silhouette and restrained detailing.
The form rises from a weighted circular base into a softly rounded body, tapering through a narrow neck before opening into a wide, flared rim. Two elongated handles extend from the shoulder, each accented with turned dark-stained wooden beads, adding warmth and contrast to the otherwise restrained metal form.
The surface retains a soft, satin patina with gentle tonal variation. Fine incised lines at the lower body provide a discreet decorative detail, characteristic of mid-century European metalwork.
Marked “Dovo Holland” to the underside.
