Description
A delicate lily pad candle holder designed by the Italian designer, Lino Sabattini in the 1970s. Lino Sabattini (1925–2016) was an Italian designer best known for his silver and metalware. Mentored by Gio Ponti, Sabattini blended a neo-classical style with a modernist and minimalist aesthetic. His refined designs of everyday objects in silver and metals have become highly collectible objects.
Silver plated with markings ‘Sabattini, Italy’. Some scratches, dents and marks from age. Very good condition. Fits a standard candlestick. Pair available. Price is for one.
