Description
Miniature vase by renowned Danish silversmith and sculptor Just Andersen (1884-1943), crafted in the 1930s from Disko metal—a unique alloy invented by Andersen that captures both the rich, earthy tones and substantial weight of bronze. The sculptural form features Andersen’s characteristic vertical ribbing, with two circular handles framing the flared neck, adding graceful balance to the compact silhouette. Properly marked with Andersen’s maker’s mark and model number. A refined example of Scandinavian Art Deco.
