Insulated teapot by BMF Bavaria, Germany, c.1930s. Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik, a popular German manufacturer at the time.
Domed beehive form with original pale gold plating. Felt-lined metal hood keeps contents warm. Art Deco in character, restrained, geometric, well proportioned.
Good vintage condition. Original gilding shows gentle wear consistent with age; some faint discolouration spots to the exterior. Felt lining intact.
