Description
This artwork was titled « En equilibrio » due to its contrasting colors of deep purple and yellow. Created by artist Paula Piquet in Uruguay, it gives balance and harmony within a space. The background was worked in several layers of acrylic and fabrics to give texture. The purple sector has freehand drawn lines using a « scraping » technique, revealing the lighter violet/pink underneath. The yellow section is also defined by a piece of fabric, which was subtly embellished with charcoal scribbles. It measures 1.65 x 1.15 meters, comes rolled inside a plastic tube and has an authenticity certificate.
