Description
Considered a sacred animal in the Mesoamerican world, the serpent symbolized concepts like rain, fertility, and renewal. Its movement, as well as the texture of its skin, has inspired a variety of textiles, sculptures, and pieces of architecture.
The Coa series connects with the pre-Hispanic past. Light and shadow create movement, depth, and mysticism. Each piece opens up different perceptions of shapes, depending on the viewing angle.
