Description
Sculpted from a custom stoneware–porcelain blend, Shiro III presents with a quiet, composed presence—its soft white surface shaped to hold light with subtle movement.
A concealed crack, formed during firing and later filled, remains embedded within the piece. Inside, carved fragments of clay rest within the hollow form—unseen, yet integral.
These elements are not corrected, but carried. They lend a quiet tension to the work, where refinement and rupture coexist without resolution.
Both restrained and deeply human, Shiro III holds space for what is often hidden—an object that reveals itself slowly, through stillness, proximity, and time.
